Outstanding food and very friendly service.

Wonderful food and excellent service. Homey atmosphere that anyone will feel comfortable with. Pork tenderloin sandwich was incredible. Limited hours means it only for lunch or an early dinner.

Good comfort food. Walleye special was good, $10. Pie was good, service was fantastic. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table on a Wednesday for lunch, worth the wait. Our food showed up quickly, and my drink never ran past half full.2 people lunch + pie > $30 pre tip.

Small restaurant but large on good food! A lot of great items to order. Walleye is always a good choice!

I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich, it was delicious. They have lots of pie choices as well. they open at 11 a.m..... you will want to get there close to that time or you will experience a short wait.

Eat here pretty regularly, staff is always nice, facility is always clean and well maintained food is hot and fresh and at a fair price. This is the spot when people talk about those old school mom and pop restaurants that have all but disappeared across most of the country. A real treat every time we go.

Had lunch there on Fri, 11-08-19.Great food...everything very hot, staff friendly and efficient. Between the 4 of us, we had the walleye (excellent breading), cod fish/chips, and the cod fish sandwich. Oh, and the homemade apple sauce was super!. Nice friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be returning!

Mushroom and Swiss burger. And onion rings was great. Service was great too

Delicious food. We ordered chicken salad on a croissant and tuna melt with homemade potato salad. Finished with homemade coconut cream pie. My husband said it was excellent. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this little restaurant !

Food was delicious. We had their Cod fish sandwich, Fried chicken sandwich, and cheeseburger for lunch. Best lunch we had in a long time. Oh, and their pie. Omg. Try the Kentucky pie. We had it as well today. So good. I couldn't keep my puppy out lol

Solid restaurant fare at reasonable prices. I had a broiled fish dinner. It is nothing fancy, but it's good. The server was very friendly, as was the owner. My dad and I felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff was truly friendly.

I am originally from New England and miss the fish ... Went to Carlyle today and was so IMPRESSED! BEST fish sandwich I've had in a very very long time! Who'd have thot I'd get a great fish sandwich in Marion OH? The blackberry pie was phenomenal! I will def go back, OFTEN! and have already referred my brother...we will both be visiting soon! Waitstaff and owner were great, very personable.

Great down home cooking, very friendly staff. Chicken wraps are excellent have not had a bad meal there. Fried pickles are so good. Only bad thing is parking.

Great place to dine home style cooking great taste and great price

We went there bcs I wanted something that made me feel warm and fuzzy inside, it was such a cold day today. I had the chop steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. Boy, that was exactly what I needed. Hot cocoa. Tons of gravy! Everything tasted good. Our waitress was very thoughtful and kind.

Carlyle's has a great serving staff! Everybody is very nice, and helpful with recommending food. The food is really good, like home cooking.
